Being a mountain town, the people and lifestyle are a lot more laid back compared to other cities in the country. The people are warm and friendly, the weather is the sunniest in Canada, and there is lots to do no matter what season it is!

If I had one day in Calgary, what should I see and do?

If you are in town in July, then the Calgary Stampede is a must. Apart from that, a day trip out to Banff National Park will not disappoint. Whether it’s summer, fall, winter or spring, nothing beats the fresh air and beauty of the mountains.

How does Canada inspire you?

The landscape, especially in Alberta! From the prairies to the badlands and the alpines, Canadian nature is an inspiration every day. People from so many different backgrounds, countries and beliefs can come together in a harmonized society to live free and how they wish – something that many people dream about.

How does working for a Canadian company inspire you?

We are three people from different backgrounds and countries who are fortunate to be able to live and work for a Canadian company with such humble roots and beginnings. It’s a privilege to be part of an organization that is proud of who they are, and to be Canadian.
