Wayfinding signage is something that affects all of us every day, but may not be a term you’re familiar with. Also known as directional signage, it refers to the signs that let us know where we are, and how to get to where we’re trying to go. While often overlooked, we would be completely lost without it – especially in foreign environments or places with complex floorplans.
There’s an art to creating signage that serves its main purpose of being informative and efficient, while also being aesthetically pleasing. Materials, colour, texture and readability are all factors to consider. The design of the signage can also drastically impact the feel of the space. We’ve rounded up some of our favourite examples of wayfinding signage that are designed to be both useful and eye-catching. Check them out below:

I would really like it some hospitals or airports implemented this type of signage. I have gotten lost in hospitals and airports so many times that I have now lost count, so I need it.
