Alliston is a settlement in Simcoe County known for its authentic country tastes, treasures and unspoiled nature! The town is well known for its farming community – especially as a fertile land for growing one of the world’s most popular foods – the potato! 2017 will mark the 44th year celebrating the Alliston Potato Festival, which takes place in mid-August.

We are a dynamic, diverse group of people that works well together. We have each other’s backs and go above and beyond a traditional workplace structure.

What do you love most about Alliston?  Alliston is a small town, filled with friendly people. There’s a variety of shopping destinations and lots of great food!

If I had one day in Alliston, what should I see and do? 

You should visit the farms, as well as Earl Rowe Provincial Park – a hidden gem that’s great for community events. After exploring the beautiful Gibson Hills Trails, you should spend the afternoon wandering main street and having a meal at a local restaurant.

How does Canada inspire you?

Canada is the best country to live in in the world! We love being part of a diverse country filled with so many cultures. Canadians are friendly, polite and hard working – and best of all, have the freedom to be themselves.
