Last Friday, The Printing House was thrilled to host our 3D Grand Opening event at the TD Centre! With a brand new 3D Scanning Studio now open to the public, we’ve officially launched our 3D printed selfies. Attendees of the event were able to learn more about these unique figurines and how they’re made, participate in tours of our scanning facility, and partake in fun and games with some amazing prizes!
Our 3D Scanning Studio (pictured above, left) was a huge draw for attendees, who were able to view the 120 DSLR cameras housed by the photo booth up close. Guests had a great time striking a pose and learning more about how the 3D design rendering process works.
Other highlights included the beautiful (and delicious!) macaron tower provided by Toronto bakery Bobbette & Belle, Starbucks coffee, and tons of fun games and prizes including TPH toques, 3D printed carabiners, and other TPH swag!
All those in attendance had the opportunity to book appointments to create their own 3D printed figurines. If you couldn’t make it to the event, don’t fret – there’s still time to schedule your own appointment, just in time for the holiday season.
